Nesta segunda-feira (19), os/as Trabalhadores/as em Educação de Jequié aderiram a Greve Geral Nacional contra a Reforma da Previdência que acaba com a aposentadoria de milhões de brasileiros. A manifestação liderada pela APLB Sindicato, CTB de Jequié e a Frente Brasil Popular ocorreu no início da manhã, em frente à Vela Cultural do Mandacaru e contou com a participação e apoio de várias entidades sindicais.
Durante o ato foi realizada panfletagem e esclarecimentos junto à população sobre as ameaças que a Reforma representa para os direitos adquiridos dos/as trabalhadores/as. Foram divulgados os nomes dos/as deputados/as que estão apoiando o desmonte do sistema previdenciário e alertado sobre a importância de manter-se mobilizado contra qualquer mudança que prejudique o/a trabalhador/a.
A manifestação teve continuação na forma de passeata até o centro da cidade, concentrando-se em frente ao Banco do Brasil.
