A APLB-Sindicato de Jequié esteve presente no Seminário dos Precatórios do Fundef sendo representadas pelas diretoras Angela Menezes e Karina Tourinho e o advogado representante do jurídico, Dr Antonio Guilherme. O evento foi realizado neste sábado (2), no Hotel Sol Victória Marina, em Salvador.
Os precatórios são decorrentes de uma ação judicial de municípios e Estados contra a União. Durante a vigência do Fundef, o Governo Federal deixou de repassar parte dos recursos aos municípios referentes ao valor-aluno. Para compensar essas perdas, as prefeituras entraram na Justiça reclamando o pagamento da verba devida. Após uma longa batalha nos tribunais, o Governo Federal está sendo obrigado a quitar essa dívida. A ação já foi transitada e julgada. Como o Fundef foi criado para valorização do Magistério, somente os professores têm direito ao precatório.
Para discutir os desdobramentos do evento em Salvador, haverá no próximo dia 21 de setembro, em Fortaleza, o Encontro Norte-Nordeste dos Precatórios do Fundef, com a presença do presidente da CNTE, Heleno Manoel Gomes Araújo Filho. O seminário teve representantes de 157 municípios baianos. Ao todo, 400 participantes participaram ativamente dos debates durante todo o dia.
