GOVERNO FLEXIBILIZA ANO LETIVO, MAS VETA APOIO FEDERAL PARA AS REDES DE ENSINO

O presidente Jair Bolsonaro (sem partido) mais uma vez demonstra todo desprezo que tem pela Educação Pública, estudantes e comunidade escolar. Apesar de sancionar nesta terça-feira (18), a medida provisória que flexibiliza os dias letivos da educação básica durante a pandemia, o presidente vetou uma série de medidas a serem tomadas pela União que ajudariam na condução da educação neste período de pandemia.
A nova lei dispensa os estabelecimentos de educação infantil de cumprir tanto os 200 dias obrigatórios do ano letivo, quanto a carga mínima de 800 horas exigidos pela Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação. Já as escolas de ensino fundamental e médio terão de cumprir a carga horária exigida em lei, mas ficam dispensadas de cumprir o mínimo de 200 dias letivos.
Para assegurar que o conteúdo curricular dos estudantes seja aplicado com a diminuição dos dias letivos, o Conselho Nacional de Educação editará diretrizes nacionais, na qual, o cumprimento da carga horária deste ano poderá ser feito no ano que vem ou poderão ser desenvolvidas atividades pedagógicas não presenciais.
Se por um lado a flexibilização do ano letivo é necessária neste período, os vetos impostos pelo desgoverno Bolsonaro, que ainda deverão ser apreciados pelo Congresso Nacional, representam total falta de comprometimento com a Educação e com a sociedade durante a pandemia.
O primeiro item vetado estabelecia que a União deveria prover os meios necessários ao acesso dos profissionais da educação e dos alunos da educação básica pública às atividades pedagógicas não presenciais, mediante assistência técnica e financeira de forma supletiva para estados e municípios, assim como as medidas necessárias ao retorno às atividades escolares regulares.
Ao vetar este ponto, Bolsonaro praticamente isenta de responsabilidade a União e abandona as redes municipais e estaduais de ensino a sua própria sorte. Um sinal claro de desprezo à educação.
O presidente também vetou o dispositivo que prevê que o Ministério da Educação (MEC), deveria ouvir as secretarias estaduais de Educação para definir a nova data do Exame Nacional de Ensino Médio (Enem). Tal veto retira a oportunidade de um diálogo mais amplo com os representantes estaduais, que são de extrema importância na formação dessas novas diretrizes.
Não bastasse isso, Bolsonaro ainda vetou o Artigo 8º, que possibilitava a distribuição aos pais ou responsáveis de alunos da rede pública, dos alimentos adquiridos com recursos do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar ou dos valores correspondentes. Uma posição de total falta de sensibilidade, visto que muitos alunos completavam sua alimentação diária com a alimentação escolar e várias famílias estão sendo diretamente afetadas pela crise financeira na pandemia.
Desta forma, não nos resta outra alternativa que não seja a luta pela derrubada de mais estes vetos. A APLB-Sindicato estará unida com o Sindicato APEOC e demais  entidades estudantis, Frente Norte e Nordeste e CNTE em mais esta frente de batalha por educação e dignidade.
