Nessa sexta-feira (28) diversos trabalhadores em Jequié, atendendo ao chamado das Centrais Sindicais, APLB e outros sindicatos, participaram de ato de protesto contra as Reformas Trabalhista, da Previdência e da Terceirização do governo Michel Temer. A população percorreu as ruas do comércio com gritos de “Fora Temer”, além de levar bandeiras, cartazes e faixas que simbolizam a luta pelos direitos adquiridos e conquistas sociais que vigoram há mais de 70 anos.
A luta unificada em Jequié foi organizada pela APLB junto com a ADUSB, CTB, CUT e outras Centrais com outros sindicatos. A Diretora da APLB Sindicato de Jequié, Caroline Moraes, classificou a Greve Geral como forte e significativa. “É um movimento vitorioso, pois teve a ampla adesão dos movimentos sindicais, sociais, de estudantes. Nessa manifestação conseguimos que portas de bancos e empresas do comércio fossem fechadas e funcionários aderissem ao movimento. Os trabalhadores e as trabalhadoras da educação pública e particular do município pararam suas atividades. Jequié aderiu a Greve pela bravura dos seus trabalhadores que mais uma vez reforça a luta pelo “não ao desmonte trabalhista e previdenciário! ”, afirmou a diretora.
Segundo Caroline, os trabalhadores da educação continuarão mobilizados para o próximo chamado do sindicato, pois ainda haverá outras discussões da reforma da previdência e trabalhista no congresso nacional, como também sobre os seus direitos locais, ou seja, nas Redes Estadual e Municipal. E finalizou, “Não vamos ficar calados diante do retrocesso imposto aos trabalhadores brasileiros”.
