A APLB Sindicato de Jequié participou, hoje (15) pela manhã, do Ato Público contra a Reforma da Previdência apresentada ao Congresso Nacional pelo (DES)governo Temer. Muitos professores e profissionais da Rede Pública (municipal e estadual) e Rede Privada de ensino, profissionais da saúde, representantes de sindicatos de Jequié e região aderiram à greve nacional. A paralisação, que vai ate o dia 25 de março, atinge todos os estados do país e abre um calendário intenso de mobilizações envolvendo centrais sindicais e movimentos populares contra a aprovação da Proposta de Emenda Constitucional (PEC) nº 287/2016, que muda as regras da aposentadoria no país.
A medida estabelece idade mínima de 65 anos para homens e mulheres poderem se aposentar e ainda exige contribuição de 49 anos para que o trabalhador possa receber o valor integral do salário. Para a diretora da APLB Sindicato, Caroline Moraes, o setor da educação é quem vai ter mais prejuízos com a Reforma: “Nós professores temos direito a aposentadoria especial e esta será retirada, o que equivale a uma perda irreparável de um direito conquistado com muitas lutas”, afirmou.
O Vereador Regi Silva, que estava presente no movimento, disse que a Câmara de Vereadores de Jequié apresentará na Câmara Municipal de Vereadores, ainda hoje, um documento requerendo da Casa de Leis que realize uma audiência Pública para discutir a (PEC) nº 287/2016, e também irá apresentar uma moção de apoio ao movimento grevista e em favor do povo brasileiro.
O movimento iniciou no Largo da Catedral de Santo Antônio, percorreu as ruas do centro e finalizou na Praça Rui Barbosa com um ato público.O evento chamou atenção do comercio e de todas as pessoas que ali passavam. Ao final, a professora Caroline fez um convite a população para continuar participando das atividades previstas para os dias de greve.
